This November, world leaders gather in Türkiye for COP31 Climate Conference - dialoguing about our climate future.
Somewhere else online, so will you.
COP31's vision is Dialogue. Consensus. Action. And we believe that dialogue belongs to everyone. From 16-20 November, young people from across the world come together in their own spaces: online, open, and free. Same conversation. Different tables.
About COP31 Youth Dialogues
COP31, the 31st UN Climate Change Conference takes place in Türkiye in November 2026, under the presidency theme "Dialogue. Consensus. Action." It brings together governments, negotiators, scientists, and civil society from around the world to advance global commitments on climate change.
COP31 Youth Dialogues is a free, online intercultural dialogue programme running from 16-20 November 2026 coinciding with the COP31 conference.
Over five days, young people from different countries, cultures, and backgrounds come together in facilitated video dialogues to share their experiences of climate change, listen to one another, and explore what meaningful climate action looks like from where they stand.
There won't be a lecture. There won't be a webinar. There would be a genuine conversation, and every voice would matter equally.
This year's dialogue questions are:
- If you were at COP31, what personal story would you bring to leaders about the impact of climate change?
- What message do you think is most important for world leaders to understand about climate action? Why?
- How do you think your community's experience with climate change is connected to what other communities are facing?
COP31 Youth Dialogues is an independent programme and is not affiliated with the official COP31 conference or the United Nations.
For Young People
This is your space to speak, be heard, and connect with peers across the world. Here's what you get:
- A genuine dialogue, not a performance. Small, facilitated groups designed for honest, cross-cultural conversations which are not debates, not presentations.
- Global perspectives. Meet young people from communities experiencing climate change in very different ways, and find the threads that connect your stories.
- A certificate of participation. Recognising your engagement and contribution to intercultural climate dialogue, from Generation Global.
For Educators
COP31 Youth Dialogues is a dialogue-centered, curriculum-connected opportunity to bring live climate change learnings into your classroom — and give your learners a meaningful international experience.
- A structured, facilitated programme. Your learners participate in guided online dialogues with peers from around the world, with experienced facilitators managing each session.
- Classroom activity resources. We provide a dedicated climate change classroom resource pack to help you prepare learners before the dialogues and deepen the learning afterwards. The resource pack is designed to work across subjects and age groups.
- Real-world relevance. The dialogue questions connect directly to geography, science, global citizenship, and ethics curricula, making participation easy and rewarding.
- A certificate for every participant. Each learner who completes the video conference and submits reflection, receives a certificate of participation - something tangible to show for their engagement.
- Free and fully online. No cost, no travel, no complex logistics. Just register your class and we handle the rest.
